Well well.... what I have been up to.

Hi gang.

For just over a week now, I have been making quick and cheap Christmas cards. A friend of mine is having a stall at our towns craft market tomorrow!! Anyway she asked me if I would like to add some.... so I did. here are two pics of 18 of the cards.

Another week has gone by

Hi all,

Well have had so much trouble with computers and BLOGS this week it would really bore you...... so I won"t tell you.

Thats all for today, have bee working on a christmas card, I think I will make one then get it copied to put on my cards, instead of making 100!! I have done a few extras for special people.

Pink Cards and Sunday Sketches

Hi all,

Well another week another day.... A couple of weeks ago I sent a good friend of mine a assortment of pink cards for her fundraiser that is held at the end of October in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness.

Figurines

Hi all,

My friend Shirley asked to see my collection of figurines that I have collected over the years. I often go on ebay and buy them. They wouldn't be very expensive singular, but as a collection all together they add up.




The above one is huge and sits in my welsh dresser.



The above lot are in my entrane hall, they sit on another dresser. These ones are not as large as the first one.



This is a overall picture of the rest of the collection. They are in my computer room, sitting on a half finished bookcase!!

I do not think I have doubled up photos, but yes there are a few that are exactly the same. sometimes you have to get a few together and that is how I get extras.

I started this when my mother passed away in 1992 and she left me with 3 very broken figurerines, from then on..... well some say I have more money than sense. But I love them.

WOW September is almost gone

Hi all,

Its well over a month since I updated my blog. I hate September with such a passion that I withdraw a lot inwards.

Anyway its almost over. Would like show you a card I made recently. Just got some new stamps so thought I would play.




This next one is one I do for the Sunday Sketch on a yahoo group Cardsketchesbyzacksnana It is a load of fun. Each month there is a sketch where you swap it. But every Sunday there is a sketch you can do just for fun. Its a great way to get those extra Birthday etc cards. So click on the link and join the group.



Another card I made was a scene card. If you want to know which company makes the stamps let me know in a message.



Am still learning to use my air brush with the copics..... but I need to PRACTICE more!!

My Craft Room

Hello all,

Well as I have promised some that I would show my craft room here goes.. its a long way before its finished!

From the door looking into the room.


My ribbons. Son built me two trolleys together and made a shelve over it. Hubby decided this was going to be the place where my ribbons sit.



My small bookshelf.



The wardrobe where you can see I store 'stuff'.



The next two show the area beside my little cubby hole.






The right side of my cubby where I keep my scene stamps.



This closes in behind me when I sit at my table. notice this is where my ribbons are on the right side. The bottom set of drawers has some ink pads, about 5 drawers of stamps. And other 'stuff'




The next two show how I store my ink pads. My wonderful hubby has done all the wood working for me.




Last but not least is my little work station. Pens in front of me, air brush to the left, laptop to the right. Various black inks I use all the time in front of me, as well as glues and other 'toys'.
